SHORT COURSES

Verification of Competency (VOC)

A Verification of Competency (VOC) confirms that a worker has the skills, knowledge and practical ability to safely and competently perform specific workplace tasks in line with current industry standards.

VOC assessments are based on relevant industry and high-risk work requirements and include a practical assessment component. Assessments are conducted in an appropriate workplace or training environment, including at our Naval Base training facility, to ensure participants can demonstrate their competency in real-world conditions.
