Course Overview:

The RIIMPO320F - Conduct civil construction excavator operations course is designed to train participants in the safe and competent operation of a civil construction excavator. Excavators are heavy machinery commonly used in civil construction, mining, and various other industries for tasks such as digging, trenching, and material handling.

Course Content:

Upon completing the course, participants will be able to:

  • Excavator Operations

  • Pre-operational Checks

  • Safe Operation of the Excavator

  • Risk Assessment and Hazard Control

  • Communication and Signals

  • Shut Down and Securing

Certification:

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be issued with an Australian Advanced Academy statement of attainment (certificate) for the following units:

  • RIIMPO320F - Conduct civil construction excavator operations

Course Duration: 

4 Days being a combination of Face to Face and online pre-learning

Course Requirements:

Person must be over the age of 18, have the ability to read, write and understand English, have a basic knowledge of mathematics to work out formulas. Be able to provide 2 forms of identification including one with a photo. Being physically fit enough and not have any conditions that would preclude you from completing the course.
